We shopped, enjoyed some great food and, of course, visited the giant L L Bean flagship store! The Princess and I enjoyed the view from our Bed and Breakfast, Middle Bay Farm Exploring the rocky coastline. We stayed in a quaint bed and breakfast right on the water. Our first stop was the Brunswick/Freeport area. Somehow the stress just melts away and you find yourself experiencing the same simple, peaceful vacation you remember from your youth. It must be the combination of the cooler weather, picturesque harbors, the fantastic antique shopping and the great food. There is something about the coastal area of Maine that is good for the soul. ![]()
